Allison Lobel, Psy.D.

Allison Lobel, Psy.D., is a licensed clinical psychologist who works with children, teens, and adults navigating challenges such as anxiety, mood disorders, ADHD/ADD, relationship and family concerns, identity development, life transitions, and grief and loss. Her approach integrates psychodynamic and family systems perspectives with cognitive behavioral strategies to foster insight, emotional regulation, and meaningful change.
Dr. Lobel earned her B.A. in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and her Master’s degree and Psy.D. from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology. Since becoming licensed in 2008, she has worked in a variety of clinical settings and group practices, most recently serving as Director of Child and Adolescent Services at a Chicagoland practice, where she also provided clinical supervision and contributed to practice leadership. Although she has extensive experience with children and teens, Dr. Lobel equally values her work with adults and supporting the unique growth and transitions therapy can offer.
